Today, West-Coast festival curators HARD Events has announced their Miami Music Week contribution for 2020 with the triumphant return of HARD Miami, presenting a Black Books Record Party with modern house music legend Chris Lake and supported by special guests at culinary infused party-place, 1-800 Lucky.
Headlining the event is Black Book Records label boss and global producer, Chris Lake. The English DJ has been dominating the electronic music industry with his house music hits such as Billboard chart topping “Operator,” and “Turn Off The Lights”. He launched Black Book Records alongside Insomniac Music Group in 2017 which has now seen releases from artists such as Walker & Royce, Solardo, and Green Velvet to name a few. Chris has become a mainstay at marquee festivals around the world like Movement Detroit, CRSSD Festival, Hideout Festival, Holy Ship! Wrecked, BPM and more.
This will be the first time that HARD Events has taken up a stake at Miami Music Week since 2016. HARD’s eastward migration shows an expansion of the predominantly West-Coast focused brand, giving fans across the US the opportunity to partake in HARD’s top-notch production and curation. Every year, hundreds of thousands of people from across the globe descend on Miami to attend an endless marathon of dance music parties, making it the perfect opportunity for HARD to spread their vision.
With vintage record-store vibes and a spacious patio that spans from the interior to exterior bar, 1-800 Lucky is perfectly suited to host HARD Events and their special guests as they test the Florida waters for their revival of HARD Miami. The HARD brand is once again poised to take 2020 by storm, this year’s HARD Miami follows the success of the inaugural Holy Ship! Wrecked which took place at the Hard Rock Resort in Punta Cana, Dominican Republic, and drops ahead of Southern California’s electronic flagship HARD Summer Music Festival, returning to Fontana Speedway August 1-2.
