JOYRYDE Surprise Drops ‘SELECTA 19’ on HARD Recs
4th Single from Upcoming LP, ‘BRAVE’
Today, JOYRYDE returns to HARD Recs with a surprise drop: “SELECTA 19.” The release marks the fourth in a series of singles leading up to his forthcoming debut album, ‘BRAVE’—the first of which accompanied the launch of HARD Recs in February 2019.
The dance music pioneer has solidified his expertise with “SELECTA 19,” a track that has been causing a pulsating frenzy among crowds at recent shows. In signature JOYRYDE fashion, “SELECTA 19” unfolds at a high-octane pace, with fierce MC vocals and robotic synths coming together for a main stage-ready heater.
On “SELECTA 19,” JOYRYDE explains:
“Among the ‘seriousness’ of writing an album, I wanted to make a record that had no ego or tolerance for anything pretentious. Something that just brings good vibes. I don't know if ‘SELECTA 19’ hit that mark, but it’s how I felt when writing it. Ms. Bratt’s vocal just took it home. I hope when people hear the song, it makes them stop thinking so they can just vibe out.”
“SELECTA 19” arrives after a summer of massive shows around the globe for JOYRYDE, as part of his BRAVE WORLD tour, which saw him mounting two extremely rare, vintage Lamborghinis on stage at the Hollywood Palladium. The tour has taken him from Canada to the United States, Korea, Japan, Brazil, France, Hungary, Germany, as well as his hometown of London.
